Welcome to the NHK, Cockgoblin! Part 4
Part 4 of our wondrous slew of arbitrary NHK analyzing awesome podcast thing. No more Madoka, she dead. Bye.
Welcome to the NHK, Madoka! Part 1-3
The first of a series of podcasts where we *try* to discuss the animes of "Welcome to the NHK" and "Puella Magi Madoka Magica". While we may wander off into random stuff blah blah...I honestly can't remember what we even talked about in this one, hopefully I had the right one in mind.
Anyways, I couldn't figure out how to split these three podcasts, so if you want to skip the first one (which is 1 hour and 45 minutes), just go to the end of the podcast and the next one should load up. Enjoy.

inFamous 2 and Just How Bad a Writer I Really Am
Infamous 2 is a fun game. That is all I have to say about that. A full review would take too much time, and I haven’t even finished it yet, so to publish a review would involve shoving my head so far up my own ass I’d look like a pillbug. No, instead of writing a silly review that absolutely nobody will neither read nor give half a shit about, I’m going to do something a little different that nobody will neither read nor give half a shit about. Y’see, one of the big narrative draws of inFamous 2 is its morality system, which allows the player to make Cole a shining paragon of truth and justice in the flooded remains of a once brilliant and thriving New Orleans-esque city, or to turn him into an electric bastard the likes of which the world hasn’t had since Adolf Hitler first realized his political aspirations. There is no middle ground for Cole, which is a purposeful decision given inFamous’ comic book influences, wherein the hero is a saint and the villain the devil, but this isn’t a problem for me. No, instead of being the 458,293rd person on the internet critique the morality in this game, I will take this opportunity to present to you, precious reader and beloved Rule of Six community member, my ideal vision for Cole McGrath. I apologize preemptively for wasting your time, should you decide to read it. You have been warned. Enjoy!

Response to “Prompt Time” (8/11/2011)
Hello,
It has been a long time but I am back! (Name is Eric if you forgot!) Either way, the games I find most exhilarating and captivating are PvP-oriented; of the many that I have played my favorite is Bloodline Champions (BLC). It is one of my favorite games because it takes everything that is good about World of Warcraft (WoW) and League of Legends (LoL) and does away with everything else.

Prompt Time
We've all had games that we prefer over others, so what is it that you find exhilarating or captivating about your favorite games? If you had to make a game or shape its development, what would you want thrown in, even if the game wouldn't sell or be enjoyed by others? Whether it's the plot, the gameplay, the music, the setting, the atmosphere, the interactivity, or whatever else you might think of, even if it's already been done, share your thoughts!
(This is different from Oliver's earlier post in that it isn't asking about your memorable gaming experiences, but is essentially what game aspects/mechanics you most want to see in a video game, even if it's a really specific, insignificant event in the plot of a side quest.)

Dante's Inferno Review
When I saw Dante's Inferno, all I could think of was God of War. It looked exactly the same, but with different enemies and environments, and to be honest, I thought the ease of God of War which really pushed the game from fun to mediocre would carry over to Dante's Inferno as well. You can therefore understand my surprise when, after picking up Dante's Inferno for 20 bucks, I was greeted with a more dynamic, balanced, and challenging version of God of War which really drew me into the hellish world that Dante describes in the first book of his Divine Comedy.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Review
When I think of Super Mario Bros., I think of the most amazing, player-friendly, and popular platformer franchise of all time. Even kids in school who knew classic Tetris as well as quantum mechanics would stand up and cheer if they heard Mario music playing over auditorium speakers. Being a big Mario fan ever since I picked up a Super Nintendo, -- I was too late for the Nintendo -- I was rather upset with myself for having missed out on the lauded Super Mario Galaxy.
